There are so many, and every year they make more. It is hard to keep up. My favorite actors and actresses are those chameleon-like performers, such as Johnny Depp, Gary Oldman, Helen Mirren, Judi Dench, and Emma Thompson, but I also appreciate stalwart leads, like Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington, or Angelina Jolie, who put 100% into every role.
Music
My tastes cover all genres of music, however, I am partial to compositions with depth and intensity; multi-layered, dramatic performances, that make the hair on the back of my neck stand on end. Prog metal acts like Opeth, Tool, or Porcupine Tree meet this criteria, but unique pop acts, like Twenty One Pilots or AJR, and lyricists like Matt Maeson leave an impression, as well. I've heard a great mash-up of Metallica and Steely Dan that you would like, if you appreciate either of those bands.
