Who I'd like to meet

I seek a man who is happy, knows what he wants. Please, love to laugh and have fun, what is better than laughing so hard your stomach hurts?! I love traveling, going on unknown adventures, and trying something I thought I never would. I'll try anything once, well, but fun none the less! I take pride in my appearance, but am not high maintenance. My friends/coworkers will tell you that I am a shy person. I can be picky but I really believe that love is out of our control. I cannot create a spark or stop a spark. There is either a connection or not.

My Interests

First and foremost, a great best friend who I can share every thing with. I can debate issues with and be safe in sharing feelings, aspriation, fears and who can love our family as much as I do. He comes into our family in good faith. His motives are pure and will be the man I want to share my life with. In doing that, he gets to have the best that I can be for him. He looks at us as the better good and wants good for us both as a team.Relationships are built over time, not day over night. I don't think you "fall in love" with someone but I think "you become in love with someone". In my opinion, patience, tolerance, gratitude, forgiveness, understanding are also the keys to long lasting love. I see richness in our different culture and languages.I approach this renewed journey with caution as my feelings and heart are quick to get the best of my head. However, once I give them, they are true and deep in every sense. I feel all is not fair in love and war. That is, I feel you should give someone your best and that you should exercise respect and honesty. I appreciate genuine companionship and soul inspired relationship. You're the one in which you can feel the earth move beneath your feet with just one kiss. Or, one in which you spend idle moments just thinking about the other person.....Please, please be honest, being single is hard for all of us, no one wants to be alone in life, if you fall for me or some one online understand we are older and understand what we are looking for, but though we know this about ourselves, and even though we may fall for someone fast, a relationship takes time to build. So, take your time enjoy getting to know each other. Lets have some fun and get to know each other.I need you to take your time with me, allow time to pass so we can become more than close friends, let things develope at a natural pace not force a relationship to happen quickly. FYI, you're like the first I'm talking to online, remember? Your very first date and it may be a little new for me in the beginning. How you handle yourself is how comfortable this has allowed me to be. I am with people all day long but no one gets within my personal space, which I've been keeping for that special man, YOU.It is not all about looks, especially as we get older but none-the-less, there has to be a physical attraction. A personality can make someone cuter or uglier as you get to know them. Profiles help but lack personal interaction and feedback that can only come through e-mails if people are honest and the true test comes at eventual, trusting each other.In my opinion, this adds to a relationship well, it is said that when a relationship ends and you've tried your best, God knows, it is best to move on, there is someone waiting, someone special, until then, we have our life to rebuild, to do unto others, to bring joy, even to those we have left behind. The universe has a funny way of circling -- rotating, we can not go back unless it is foreseen. There are no rhyme or reason to love. You either love or you do not..I want something serious.. I told you from the start that relationship or marriage depends on who I meet. I am looking for someone who is secure and who knows what he wants in a woman. I want someone who is not afraid of commitment, someone who can communicate well, both with words and feelings, and someone who will treat me as an equal and not an object. A good sense of humor, outgoing, likes horses, and all animals too. A romantic person and someone who is not afraid to cook dinner once in a while. Someone who will walk beside me and not in front of or behind me. Someone who loves kids, travel, and is able to get dirty one minute and put on a suit and tie, to go out the next minute. Diversity, maturity, stability in his job, and just an all-around good man.I am definitely not here to "play" and I think you and I are searching for the same. A friendship and if that friendship should blossom into something more, we would be blessed with one of life's most beautiful gifts (The gift of love). I have held on tightly to the hope that this blessing will be bestowed upon me.
