On Sept 1, there is quite a Facebook discussion about the issue that in 2016, tents will no longer be allowed at Gunnison Beach, because of sexual activity going on inside of the tents. On that day, 59 posts were sent to the Sandy Hookers/Gunnison Beach group of Facebook. The news about no tents has spread like wildfire at Gunnison. Several people learned about no tents by way of discussions with the rangers. If there have been multiple discussions with rangers, to me that is enough evidence of truthfulness. Rangers have lately been looking into tents. Some people have been arrested for sexual activity in the tents. Generally speaking, there is agreement that the sex within the tents should never have happened, and there is much concern about the possibility of Gunnison becoming closed to nude use. Other nude beaches have been closed, as result of sex on the beach. This may be a swingers website, but I am sorry that this time I must argue on the side of the nudists. I don't want Gunnison to become closed to nude use. I would greatly miss the inspirational walks by the oceanside with my bare skin feeling the sun and ocean breezes.
