Return to DiscussionsAfter only having seen them on women I was sure that they would be very uncomfortable. Then, at my wife's suggestion, I bought one for myself. Wow! Instead of discomfort I found that string in the back to be very comfortable.
I have posted a couple of pics, both front and rear views.
I figured that, with their popularity, they can't be all bad and found them okay, as long as they're not too tight. The Hom Fredy, with a stretchy-but-thin string could start to irritate if worn for too long. I still have some Homs but dont mind a wider string or a thong with, say 3/4" of fabric and 1/4" elastic on both sides. I've now barely worn anything else for perhaps 20 years.
