Government shutdown 10/1/2013 closes beach
Return to DiscussionsLocal papers said today that all beaches at Sandy Hook, Gateway National Recreation Area, including Gunnison, are shut down as of today following the shut down of the federal government. Politics aside, this might have been the one of the last weekends to enjoy the beach with temps near 80 degrees forecast.
