Enlarging my PA
Return to DiscussionsI've followed advice to upgrade my PA slowly and not to force it. So it has been a long process. My original PA was at 1.6mm (14 gauge), done around12 April 2017. I had no difficulty upgrading it to 2mm (12g), then 3mm, then 3.2mm (8g) over a matter of weeks. After that things slowed down. Upgrade to 4mm (6g) took me a few months and 5mm (3g) upgrade was on 24 July 2018, all of 15 months after the initial piercing. I've only recently (10 Feb 2019) upgraded to 6mm (3g), some 6 1/2 months later (and almost 2 years after the initial piercing.
It does feel chunky now. The weight gently stimulates my cock and it rattles on the heavy piercing at the base of my sack when I walk.
I think the better way is to start with a 10 gauge needle and either run a taper thru immediately or within a few day later and move up to a 8 gauge. The heal time is the same for the new pierce and when you are ready to move up you are looking at a 6 on the first move.
Some of the guys pierce with a larger needle but I think you run into other problems that you don't want to have to go thru.
Just my thoughts but whatever you do do not rush in between each stretch or things will rip and migrate or bleed and you will have to treat it like a fresh piercing.

As I said it's easy to get up to 3.2mm (8 gauge) but, for me, it became more difficult to move up from there. I now recon on about 6 months between each 1mm upgrade. Do it to fast and the PA can tear or migrate out. Today (9 Aug) I moved up to 7mm (2 gauge). As with every upgrade it is tight and smarts at first. But I know it will settle down.
2 gauge is a good size! I was in a rush to move up in size and went to 0 and then 00 before I realized that that is a lot of weight to carry around. I backed off to a 0 and have been happy there. With all of the 2 gauge hardware I had bought I should have stayed there! Not a lot of difference in the next bump.

Over Christmas I was sat in a bar (clothed) when the conversation turned to piercings. A lady who I had not met before asked to see mine. Being the gentleman I am I lifted my kilt and showed her. She exclaimed about my, fairly chunky 7mm (2 gauge) PA. Today (15 January) I moved up to 8mm (0 gauge).

Yes I have enjoyed it. I took a pic with a nail through it (and my sack). It looks like it was hammered through but it was just threaded through the piercings. Today I upgraded to 10mm ( 3/8ths of an inch or just above 00 gauge).
I realize this may be me repeating myself, but when you get a PA, are you done using a urinal for good?
I do use the urinal but have to stand very close. Sometimes the pee clings to the PA jewellery and leaves in an unpredictable direction. I often pee sitting down as it's easier.
