When I was in my 30s and early 40s I worked at a college and used the gym, locker rooms and showers all the time, during the school year and in summer. I showered with baseball, lacrosse, soccer, track&field, water polo and other teams after their practices. The football team and basketball team had closed locker rooms. The ice hockey team was in a different building so non team members couldn't use that facility.After I left that job they constructed a new student workout facility with open showers and a sauna I still live only ten miles away so once every couple of months I used to pay a user fee and use the student workout gym.
