The furnace went out a while back and even though I had made an appointment for them to come the following week to have it cleaned, a service man and his apprentice came the next day to fix it. After about an hour, they managed to clear out the obstruction, get the furnace working again, and left. The next week, there was a knock on the door early in the morning. I was asleep in bed in the nude. I went to answer the door and it was the older guy from the previous week, alone. I hid behind the door as we talked. He said he was there to clean the furnace. I said I thought he had done that the week before. He reminded me that he had only fixed the problem, not cleaned the furnace. I let him in and he noticed for the first time that I was completely nude. He asked if he had woken me up. I said yes and that I should probably put some clothes on. He told me not to bother on his account, so I didnt. He went downstairs and after about an hour, he called to me upstairs and asked me to come down. He was shirtless (he had a nice furry chest) then told me what he had done. He put his shirt and coat back on and then went out the basement door. A short time later, he came back up to the side door when he was finished with the invoice. I thanked him and shook his hand. He told me next time, if I had it cleaned at the end of the summer, I could get a discount. I told him I would. I wonder if I do call him for a summer cleaning, if he would strip down completely to do it? I can only hope.
