It is common. The excitement is greater upon seeing a naked man than a naked woman. This happens in the execution of the body. So, there is no need to get upset.

It happens to me as well, usually with a little (sexual, sensual) stimuli. For me, the only time it is a nuisance is when I'm modeling for art classes (even lacking an erection). I've gotten into the habit of casually wiping it with my robe when we go into break.

This is me. No way to stop it happening, except for trying to think of other things, and even that probably just means I'm the last to notice. Feeling it hit my leg is one way.

On textile beaches I'll wear a condom to avoid anything showing through my suit.

This happens to me on the beach too. My wife and I will sometimes play cards or farkle, and I'll just sit directly on the warm sand (it feels so good). I'll find that I'm all drooly and have a bunch of sand stuck to my third eye.

My beach trips lately have been minimalist lately - cap, keys, phone and only mesh shorts for the non-CO walk to/from the carpark. I've just been lying on the uncovered soft sand. Quite intimate.

Certainly the sand sticks and demands a dip to rinse off, and probably more so around the groin, although the increase in thickness is gradual rather than sudden. Perhaps those areas are more stick from sweat as much as anything else. I haven't noticed if I've gained special attention from others as a result.

One curious sensation is when I get up from lying on my back: some of the grains fall from my upper back as I walk and rain down on my butt. Just a gentle sand shower.

Okay, further research demonstrated the difference between grains of sand sticking to the body (and raining down once one gets up) and clumps of sand where excessive moisture is involved.

So the clumps formed in a small defined area. Both taken care of by a dip in the water. :-)

This happens to me as well and it has been an interesting conversation starter. I just let it drip so other men can see it and it has led to many fun introductions and interactions. I'm not sure whether women would find it amusing or arousing, but men certainly do.

I've always gone straight to the water in that state. Walking the shoreline instead may be interesting for the reactions.
