Return to DiscussionsHey,We came down to Ft. Lauderdale 2 years ago in June. We wanted to spend every day at Haulover, but there was monsoon type weather every day! We never even got to see the beach!! LOLWhat is the best time of year to come there for dry warm weather? Would love to go.
It is very sad you guys couldn't go to Haulover. Some time can be raining at Ft. Lauderdale, but is not at Haulover.
March and April can be a go time. I don't remember too much rain in those months, but it cam be very windy. And for some people the water is cold.

I spend a lot of time at haulover. florida's rainy season is in the summer. you can count on rain everyday during the summer. as a matter of fact its getting ready to rain at this moment.
from about sept on the weather is mostly sunny every day. it can get a little cool and sometimes downright cold in dec and jan, but that only for a couple of days at a time. the rain starts in about may or so. even on the rainy days it is mostly real nice in the morning until about 1 or 2 in the afternoon, then the rain starts.
