RE:Looking at other penises

I think we take in the whole man and then, as he gets closer, look at his penis and balls and then at his face. I thought myself to have a small penis. A did a survey (one of many about pubic hair on men and women) with a very large sample (1,000 plus). Guess what? I discovered that more than half the men had penises on my size or smaller. The other thing I noticed was that the men's confidence as a nudist had nothing to do with his penis size or his fitness. It's a frame of mind.

RE:Looking at other penises

I never saw the shower room as crowded as I did tonight. The college football team was showering just as I left the sauna for my last cooldown. Around 25 fit guys and a feast of penis watching. I was actually surprised at how many looked alike, but they were beautiful, every one.

Then came the fantasy of blowing every one of those guys. Suddenly thrust back into reality that even my experienced jaws couldn't handle that many. Hmm, maybe if I settled for being spit-roasted it would solve the problem, only half requiring oral action.... and think of how well-lubricated. Whew.

RE:Looking at other penises

I think the question here is how the current concept of the penis isn't what it was in antiquity. Objectified and classified by biology and our pornographic visual culture, the penis is vastly reduced. It's a sex organ, a disease vector, a weapon and for the more enlightened an avatar of male power not limited to the mechanical process of penetration or masturbation. I've not included every possible just negative and positive examples. Holistic approaches go further.

But in antiquity the penis was a god. A magical vessel that life itself generated to generate. Good luck, peace and harmony were its blessings. The cults of phallic worship held that in pleasure, the penis BECAME the man and the axis mundi (the imagined line of force that makes the planet spin and thus ushers forth all of nature).

A penis was never simply an organ but the source of the magic that creates and recreates the whole of humanity and nature. For the Greeks and others nature is sexual. Not erotic sex, but rather physics, or the energy of the natural world which was in plants, penises (vaginas and breasts too) and the milky way (yes that milk). On this reading, it makes no sense to separate penis from man. This isn't exactly what modern phallic cults hold true but maybe not far off.

RE:Looking at other penises

I think its more due to how much a mans identity is focused around his penis. So in essence you never fully see a man until you see his penis.

i agree with the conclusion but not the premise. i think, simply, that when naked men see each others' penises, whether friends or strangers, a connection is made that can't be made otherwise.

The other thing I noticed was that the men's confidence as a nudist had nothing to do with his penis size or his fitness. It's a frame of mind.

i also agree with this observation. a man who is comfortable with his body will be open to connecting, on whatever level, with another. a man who is obsessed with the size of his penis creates a barrier to connect with other men.

RE:Looking at other penises

Thursday night I came out of the gym shower room dripping wet. The night cleaner was there as he has been dozens of times. Ive been nude around him all the time. This time, as I walked out he was standing there just staring at my dick. It was so very obvious it caught me off guard. Ive never noticed him looking at all.

Its good to look and to be looked at!

RE:Looking at other penises

Despite some men swearing that they don't, I think it is just part of human nature to look at another persons body, especially their genitals. Mentally comparing what someone else has and how it works seems to be part of our mentality as men.
