New dare - repair the roof

I was sat naked at a friend's house when it rained and we realised the roof needed fixing. So I went up the ladder and fixed it. He took some photos (see the gallery) while his wife held the ladder. There is no hiding place on a roof.

I went up the tall ladder today to clear the ivy out of mu guttersand off my roof. It was lovely up there in the sun. Decades ago, when I became 50 years old, I quit going up that kind of ladder. Safety first.
