Over the years I've noted various takes nudist women have about their pussy being seen.
The "pussy-shy": these are the women that take extra special care in making sure their pussy is not seen. They'll cross their legs while sunbathing/socializing, climb out of the hot-tub or pool sideways, and never bend over. It just seems like too much effort.
The "incidentally exposed": these are the women that do not intend for their pussy to be seen; but it happens as a function of just "moving around." Like while bending over to straighten their towel or straddling their lawn chair to apply sunscreen. It's usually a flash; as they'll readjust and hide the moment they realize their pussy can be seen.
The "obliviously exposed": these are the women that don't really put a lot of thought on whether their pussy can be seen or not. They might socialize or do activities with legs open and their pussy in plain view; but it's mostly because they are either very relaxed or not self-aware. My wife fits that category for the most part.
The "purposefully uninhibited": these are the women that have no hang-ups about their pussy being seen. As a matter of fact they consider it completely natural. You can find them laying by the pool or socializing with their legs open and a smile on their face. They are fully aware their pussy is fully exposed and embrace it.
I've known a few women in that category (which includes my ex-wife) and it's hard to not be completely captivated by the sights and variety. My ex had a "clean slit" (tiny labia). I've seen women with hanging lips, women with open vulvas. Sometimes right in front of my face. Beautiful.
I like the way you categorize the nudist women regarding how they behave concerning their pussies being seen. Even though a woman is a nudist doesn't mean that she isn't shy about displaying her private parts. But a woman who is a true nudist should not be overly shy or self-conscious. At our nudist club, my wife is usually somewhere between "incidentally exposed" and "obliviously exposed", but occasionally she may be more "purposefully uninhibited".
My wife, who fits more in the "obliviously exposed" category, will occasionally transition to "purposefully uninhibited." It typically happens when she realizes she's "exposed" around other people; and instead of "readjusting", she decides to not worry about it and just be natural and confident. Especially among friends and acquaintances, her thinking is: "eh...they've already seen it all anyway." And she's not wrong; especially since she started shaving bald, her pussy is much more easily seen anyway.
I think that's a much healthier attitude than being constantly "on guard" about being seen exposed.
Thinking more about the women at my resort (which btw is not representative of ALL nudists resort), my rough estimate for the "split" is probably 20% "pussy-shy", 40% "incidentally exposed", 25% "oblivious", and 15% "uninhibited." Again, that will vary depending on the day; and many will transition from one to another throughout the day. Added to this is 80% completely shaven, 15% with a landing strip or trim, and the rest with full pubes.
What that means is that actually relatively few women will socialize/hang out with their pussy in full view, with no hang-ups about it being seen. But most other women will be exposed at some point; although it will mostly be "transitory."
When I first started many years ago, the "splits" were more along the lines of 50/35/10/5; and 10/50/40. There does seem to be a correlation between the "normalization" of baldness and increase in exposure. I attribute this to two things. First, the removal of pubic hair has naturally made the vulva/labia more visible. For example, when my wife was hairy her labia was not discernable when she stood naked on a paddle-board; but now, it is clearly visible. Second, seeing other women exposed will often decrease self-consciousness/increase confidence about being exposed themselves. This was confirmed by my wife as she transitioned from hairy to bald; and when I asked her about her increased confidence with her pussy being seen, she simply replied that it was "seeing other women's pussy exposed."
So my anecdotal/unscientific observation is the more women are shaven and not "pussy-shy", the more other women will tend to be less self-conscious about theirs.
