Togas
I like to wear a light cloth in the form of a toga. One shoulder is bare and it's open right down the other side. It's obvious I'm naked under the toga. It can cover my bits. But I usually let it fly up exposing everything. It also shows all when I'm sitting.
Since the previous post I did the sarong-as-a-toga thing and it went well (assuming that having the slightest breeze expose everything unless being held down counts as going well). It meant I only had the sarong, cap, keys and phone as I crossed the carpark and walked in to the CO section.
I agree with the wind that it felt light as a feather and it feels somewhat to be making a statement about choosing a garment that obviously conceals nothing beneath it in a way that's different to, say, just wearing a swimsuit. It's movement as I walk contributes to that.
Also I have never used anything other than a towel when laying on the sand and was surprised with the intimacy between my body and the soft sand with such a thin layer in between.
On the way out I did make sure to try wearing it with the solid side into the breeze and it stayed better in place without needing to be held while still having the feeling of a light touch as I walked. Even then the lack of coverage down one side would be noticeable, just not showing everything, at least most of the time.
