I like the gel kind. They are easy to put on and off and to carry with you. My buddy wears metal ones but theyre pretty heavy.

I like rings that stretch. Metal ones look cool, but are heavy depending on the size and I have tight balls and they do not cooperate when trying to put one on. Also....I have this fear of becoming a ER horror story where I can't remove my metal c-ring. LOL.
