Your assumptions are correct. I had to worry about the rest of the crew that followed her. Sometimes they were right behind her and sometimes times later in the day and they didn't like us if we were not fully dressed. How do I know, I was caught on the phone without a shirt on and they closed the door and came back 30 minutes later.
That could have been respecting your privacy for the duration of the phone call.
One of my favorite things to do is answer the door nude for room service in hotels if it's a male delivery person. There was a period when I was in a hotel every Thursday night in Philadelphia.
